I’m so excited to finally share something that I have been working on quietly in the background for a little while.
Welcome to The Sleep Sanctuary - my CBTi-based sleep solutions programme.
This programme was created for anyone who feels tired but wired … exhausted yet unable to switch off … or frustrated by nights spent tossing, turning and watching the clock. Has sleep started to feel like something you try and fail to achieve rather than something that naturally happens?
If so, you’re exactly who The Sleep Sanctuary is for.
In my work as a hypnotherapist, I see clients with sleep struggles pretty much every day. They’re often anxious and overwhelmed from lack of quality sleep and a nervous system that’s been stuck in “on” mode for too long.
Anxious thoughts, work pressures, busy lives, overthinking, self-doubt – all of these keep the mind alert and active when the body is craving rest. The more you try to sleep, the further away sleep seems to go … and the cycle continues. Sound familiar?
There seems to be plenty of support out there geared towards parents of young children that are not yet good sleepers .... but what about the 1 in the 3 of the UK's adult population who experience insomnia? GPs just aren't equipped to deal with this, and there is a lack of professionals adequately trained in sleep matters who they can refer you to, so sleeping pills are often the solution that is offered.
Which is where The Sleep Sanctuary comes in.
What is The Sleep Sanctuary?
The Sleep Sanctuary is a CBTi-based sleep programme designed to help you learn the healthy habits, and science-backed techniques that will unwind both mind and body, gently and naturally. With my support you will be able to feel safe, supported and gently guided towards better sleep, better days and a better relationship with your mind.
CBTi (Cognitiive Behavioural Therapy for insomnia) is recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health & Care Excellence) as the medical profession's first-line approach for sleep disorders. It's healthy, has no side effects and will enable you to change your habits, behaviours and mental beliefs about sleep so that you can reverse insomnia.
I have been trained to deliver CBTi-based sleep improvement strategies by Dr David Lee, from sleep experts, Sleep Unlimited. It means I can help you make tangible improvements to your lifestyle that will support better sleep habits and lead you towards a peaceful mind and a good night's sleep - every night!
Alongside the science stuff I incorporate techniques for relaxation, guided imagery and hypnotherapy so that your mind is supported in shifting out of alertness and into calm – where sleep can happen all by itself.

How do I get started?
There are two options to choose from:
Sleep Foundations:
An in-depth assessment of your sleep problem, tailored recommendations for sleep based on your assessment and a hypnosis for sleep recording. This can be carried out online or in person.
Sometimes there can be a relatively quick fix to sleep problems. Other times there is more work to do, in which case you can upgrade to:
Total Sleep Support:
The full four-session programme including sleep assessment, sleep diary, tailored recommendations for sleep based on your assessment and sleep diary, sleep factsheets, discover and improve your sleep efficency, ongoing support through the programme and hypnosis recordings and relaxation/mindfulness techniques to use at home.
